During August 16 – 19 2023., Liberty International, with local host Jose Luis Cordeiro, will be organizing the 37th edition of the Liberty International World Conference in Madrid, Spain. This year’s main theme is “Prosperity and Longevity Through Liberty”. It will encompass discussions on the past, present, and future challenges faced by the freedom movement and its evolution over time. In previous editions of the Liberty International there have been Nobel laureates (like Milton Friedman), presidents and ministers also giving their views and receiving the “Torch of Liberty” Award by Liberty International. According to Jose Luis Cordeiro: “This international conference will make Madrid the capital of liberty around the world!“
Liberty International World Conference 2023 or LIWC2023 will bring together 200+ attendees, 40+ speakers and 10+ pro-liberty organizations from all around the world. Relevant stakeholders such as policymakers, journalists, activists, futurist experts, historians and key economic analysts to explore these issues and develop concrete recommendations. To address how to achieve longevity and prosperity from an individual level to entire communities. There will also be film screenings about movies related to liberty in the former Soviet Union, Hong Kong and other places.

LIWC2023 will gather some of the biggest names in the liberty movement. They are Syed Kamall (former member of the European Parliament), Dan Mitchell (Center for Freedom and Prosperity), Mary J. Ruwart (Liberty International), Jose Luis Cordeiro (Millennium Project), Angelica and Thomas Walker-Werth (Objective Standard Institute), Per Bylund (Mises Institute), Jacek Spendel (Liberty International), Juan Pina and Roxana Nicula (Fundacion para el Avance de la Libertad), Jorge Jraissati (Alumni for Liberty, Students for Liberty) and many others.

They will explaining the tragic realities of those totalitarian countries…
The conference will be held in the heart of Madrid at the bicentennial Ateneo de Madrid. The conference’s agenda will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, debates, film screenings and other entertaining activities. In addition, we will have two days of cultural tours around Madrid. So international participants can visit some UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
